Some cool updates if you are not on our mailing list.
California has enacted the 3 foot rule which no longer has an ambiguous “safe” distance to pass. The law now states that there must be 3 feet in order to safely pass a cyclist. Law enforcement has said that they will not be out with rulers measure drivers and are more concerned about awareness.
Interbike was an overwhelming blast of new products, information and sensory overload. I stopped by the Litespeed booth and got to check out a few of the new bikes that will be joining our line up as well.

A cool sight to see this year at Interbike was a new futuristic car/bike by San Diego’s very own Virtue Bike.
This new velomobile will have the option of a electric motor to add the range this vehicle can travel with ease. The bike is being sold as a commuter in all conditions, which in San Diego is 99% perfect weather. So it might be a difficult sell in its home town, but it does look super fun!
Adding an electric motor to this does make it an interesting buy though. Being able to run to the store, movie theater or any other errand makes this rather appealing.
I have found myself driving my car 2 miles away because I was in need of some storage space to return my items. This vehicle gives that option, and it looks rather Sci fi!
The Pedalist will not go into production for at least another year, so we will have to see if this prototype ends up leaving the show room and onto the road.
With the increase in popularity of Fat Tire bikes, Salsa has stepped up and added some really awesome Fat Bike’s.
The big one I think a lot of people have asked about is the 2015 Salsa Bucksaw
Felt has already skipped into the future by releasing an early 2015 line up, but there is still more to be released!!
The 2015 Felt Double Double 70
Felt is jumping into the fat bike world with the Double double 70 – 26″ wheels, disc brakes and a lot of adventure to be had. Seeing it in person creates a sense of urgency to purchase a fat bike, a collection will soon be incomplete without one!
Check out the full specs on the 2015 release of the Double Double 70 and email us for more info!
Scott brought all the goods this year to Interbike!
Scott’s 2015 line up on paper was looking pretty good, so it was awesome to see it all in person.
The color’s seem to be a head turner this year on some of the high end, 700 and 900’s.
Here are a few shots, one of the new 2015 Scott Plasma5, 2015 Scott Gambler 710,
2015 Interbike is underway now and with tons of new gear. Hands on Demo’s booths as far as the eye can see, and at the end, when you feel you are about to give up, throw in the towel, vendors bring out the beer. With free beer flowing, sore feet, games, and a sea of people lets check out some of the new gear!
GIRO – VR90
The VR90 is the mountain bike take on the Empire shoe. With the Vibrams rubber soul, one piece laced upper, and Easton EC90 Full Carbon outsole make these shoes light. The all orange will not currently be available, black/orange and gray/yellow will available soon.
GoPro was on sight to show off some amazing footage, let buyers try them out, and edit using their own GoPro Studio Edit. I was curious as to when the new GoPro+ 4 Black would be released, and there is officially no new news.
The release date was pushed back and some rumors are showing an October release date, we will keep you posted on that.
